Esther Harvey Sleggs was my mother's teacher in a one room schoolhouse in South Dansville, NY right across from where Gramma & Grandpa Burger lived. She is buried at
Canaseraga Cemetery.
Homer Dunning’s father. Nathan and grandfather Humphrey died in a typhoid epidemic. …Homer’s son, Harold was friend of Dad’s (Ross Glover) and went into the Army with him for WWII. They are buried at Arkport cemetery, Arkport, N.Y.
Ross Glover wrote: I knew him well and I believe his wife's name was Vera. Corinne and I used to go to dances where they would be and I knew Harold as he drove truck for Paul Petty's who was an uncle of Bud Clancy’s wife, Kay Pettys Clancy.
Helen Harvey Curry was the daughter of Oscar Harvey with his first wife. His second wife was Bertha Bailey who is in the photo. Helen is buried in Greenmount cemetery, Dansville, N.Y.
Grace Lee Bailey Sanford was the daughter of Squire John Bailey & Martha "Mattie" Adaliade McIntosh & grandaughter of John Bailey & Amelia Carmen. John’s brother. Zenas Bailey was great-grandfather of your grandmother, Nina Bailey. Grace married Adelbert Sanford, son of Franklin Sanford & Mary Ann Bailey (daughter of Zenas Bailey & Comfort Tabor) so Franklin & Mary Ann Sanford were her in-laws! Adelbert's brother LaVeme was great-grandfather to Judy Sanford Guidara who has been helping with the Bailey history.
Bessie Wentworth married Clair Kams. Warren Wentworth was her brother. Their mother was Ida Wright Wentworth, sister of Elizabeth Wright Glover. Lizzie had 15 kids with James Lee Glover, the brother of my great grandpa, Robert F. Glover, former sextant of Canaseraga,N. Y. cemetery.
Harry Knight I believe ran the Knight Hardware store on Main St. In Canaseraga,NY.
Edith Gilbert could be the Edith in the family photos you sent before and the sister maybe of James?
