Thank you for the opportunity to share my story of my great great grandfather, Sgt. Lorenzo Hodges and to honor him - a brave soldier. His wife Rosetta Coon (my gg grandmother) was the daughter of Joseph & Phoebe Van Horn Coon. This Coon family shows residing in Friendship, Allegany, NY on the 1850 census. Sometime after that, they moved to Annin, McKean, PA where she met Lorenzo Hodges. They married in 1855. ......
