Allegany County Democrat, April 6, 1877
The Hon. John G. Collins, long a resident of Angelica, died at his residence in that village on the morning of the 2d inst. We understand that his disease was pneumonia. Mr. Collins was by profession a lawyer and formerly represented this county in the Assembly, and was County Judge from 1856 to 1860. He leaves a widow but no children.
