Hundreds of youth throughout Allegany County benefited directly from the quiet but intense teaching of Ken Carey. Cooperative Extension’s 4-H Program is especially appreciative of Ken’s faithful help with Diary and Tractor Safety programs both in planning and implementation. We will miss him at training sessions and at County Fair where over many years he helped keep things running smoothly, but still found time to encourage young participants. We extend our sympathy and appreciation to his wife, Thelma, and their family who allowed so many to share and benefit from the teaching of a man of Kenneth Carey’s caliber and example.
