Clarence Hunt

Alma – Clarence Hunt, 94, of Hunt Road was dead on arrival Friday (October 28, 1983) at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville after being stricken at his home.

Born in Ulysses, Pa., he was a retired farmer and oil-field worker. He was a 70-year member of the Yorks Corners Grange. He was married to the former Alice Ives, who died in 1977.

Survivors include a son, Harold of Fords Brooks; two foster-sons, Normal Ives of Wellsville and Alvin Ives of Alma; a sister, Mrs. Mary Vossler of Wellsville; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the J. W. Embser Funeral Home in Wellsville where a services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ivan Smoker and Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial will be in Yorks Corners Cemetery.

Friends may make donations to the charity of their choice.
