Obituary for Victor Hunt

Victor Hunt died following an operation for gall bladder trouble (1934). He was born in the township of Willing. He grew up in this section and came to Whitesville in 1925 to work at his trade of automobile mechanic in which he was highly skilled.
On March 17, 1926 at Wellsville he was married to Miss Alice Swort of this village, who with his father, Will Hunt and grandmother, Mrs Roxy Bishop of Genesee, Pa., two brothers Lovell of Genesee and Raymond of Portville and a sister, Mrs Lanson Webb of Almond survive.
Funeral rites, Monday, July 2, 1934, included a prayer at the late home on the Wellsville road and a service at 1 o'clock from the Methodist church. Rev. Engler of Knoxville and Rev. H.J> Marquis officiated and interment was in Rural Cemetery with committal conducted by the Rebekah and Odd Fellow Lodges of which he was a member. The two lodges attended in a boody the service at the church. Mr. Hunt would have be 32 years of age on July 10th of this year. The widow and other members of the family have the sympathy of the country side in their loss.
