Mrs. Beulah Pettit, whose early years were spent in Cuba and whose sister lived in Olean and Cleveland, Ohio, died at her home in Cleveland on Monday. She is survived by her husband, Eloy Pettit and her son, Howard, also of Cleveland.
Mrs. Pettit was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucien T. Howard and attended Cuba High School and after her graduation from normal school taught in Cuba, and Wellsville. She was a member of Christ Church and the Shakespeare Society of Cuba.
The funeral will be held at the Loveridge Funeral Home, this Thursday after noon at 2, conducted by the Rev. Roy L. Webber, with burial in the family plot in Cuba Cemetery.
