HUBERT PADDEN


Hubert Padden, one of Andover’s oldest and most respected citizens, died at his home on Chestnut street, Friday, March 17th, after an illness of a number of weeks duration, aged nearly 82 years.

Mr. Padden came to Andover over sixty years ago, when a young man, and has lived here ever since. He was an honorable and upright man, and was held in high esteem.

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning, from the Blessed Sacrament church. The burial was at St. John’s Catholic cemetery.

Mr. Padden is survived by his wife and five sons, Michael, Robert, Herbert, Daniel and Timothy. Robert lives in the West. Daniel and Herbert are residents of Buffalo, and Michael and Timothy are of Andover.
