Mrs. Annette Phillips, wife of V. J. Phillips died at their home on [Beech] Hill, Saturday afternoon, aged 56 years. She had been ill for some time and a week before suffered a stroke of paralysis which resulted in her death. Mrs. Phillips was a sister of R. Fish of this place and well known in the vicinity. The funeral was held at the residence Monday at 1 o’clock, Rev. A.I. Blanchard of Wellsville officiating.
