FALCONER -- Rae Ann Rahr, 63, of 1893 East Main Street, died Saturday (May 3, 2003) in the WCA Hospital.

An area resident most of her life, she was born August 15, 1939, a daughter of Arthur and Alice Eymer Jensen.

She was a graduate of Wellsville High School and had attended Geneseo State Teachers College. In earlier years she had been employed by the former Robert Hall Clothing Stores and later for the Bath Shop in Falconer.

Surviving are her husband William D. Rahr whom she married July 18, 1959, in Wellsville, two sons Dale Rahr of Frewsburg and Alan Rahr of Falconer, a daughter, Susan Shelters of Ellington, seven grandchildren, her father of Greenhurst, a sister Andrea Craven of Clay, and a brother Peter Jensen of Arkport.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1988.

Friends will be received by the family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Reverend Timothy D. Phelps, pastor of the Falconer United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer.
