Mrs,. Susan K. Stebbins passed away suddenly on Tuesday about nine-forty five o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merritt (Maude) Adams, Main Settlement. Mrs. Stebbins had been a resident of this community (Portville, NY) for fourteen years coming here from Andover, NY She was born in Jasper on April 30, 1851 and was united in marriage to Melvin Stebbins at Whitesville in December 1973. The deceased was a member of the Andover Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Merritt Adams of Main Settlement, a sister Eva of Scio, one grandson Kenneth Adams of Main Settlement and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Portville Funeral Home on Friday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. Homer Evans officiating. The burial will be in the Valley Brook Cemetery ay Andover, NY.
