The entertainment Tuesday evening the operetta " Cinderella in Flower'and" was of especial interest to the patrons of the high school, as it was rendered principally by the younger members of the school and never fails to draw a good house. There was a full house at the commencement exercises Thursday evening; every item on the program was interesting, each person rendering their part with credit to themselves. The music by the Bradit orchestra was exceptionally fine and added much to the occasion. Besides the awarding of the diplomas to the six young ladies, Edger Romsley received the silver medal for the second best prize Historical essay in the contest for the county, presented by Mrs J H Bissell on behalf of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Clinton Williamson received the medal for the highest standing in all points in school and Ray Casterline was so close a contestant that he was presented with a beautiful book, and Miss Merena Van Campen received the prize for the best Improvement in English composition.
