S/Sgt Gerald P. and Pamela Bunk Slocum are parents of a son, Jeffrey James, born Jan. 28, 1974 at Dover Air Force Base, Del. Mrs. Slocum is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bunk of Black Creek. The paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Slocum of Columbus, Ohio.
