The following from the current issue of the Buffalo Christian Advocate will be of interest: “The friends of Rev. J. E. Wallace will be pleased to learn that he is not to leave the Methodist ranks. Although educated in a Baptist University and having received flattering offers to enter their ministry, yet his love for the old church is too strong to allow any change in his ministerial relations. Overwork and ill health seemed to demand a short rest, and he thus gave up his charge, but no recuperated his wish is to take active work at the coming conference.”
