Fairview Cemetery

Town of Almond NY

 fariview_cemetery

Fairview Cemetery is located about 1 mile north of Route I-86 on Karr Valley Road. It is governed by the Fairview Cemetery Association of Almond.

The property was deeded to them by the Karr Family, and can be seen on lots 32 or 33 of the 1869 Map of Almond by Beers.   It can be seen on the 2004 version of the County Map on County Route 2.

It is an active cemetery, recently opening a new section in land adjacent to the old part of the
cemetery. The cemetery is kept in good shape by the association. This is the final resting place of many pioneering families of Almond.
