Alger Cemetery, Town of Hume, Allegany County, NY

Alger Cemetery is located on Route 19 in the Town of Hume, several miles north of the Village of Hume. It is an active cemetery, kept in good condition.

It was compiled from several sources: a walk through with a digital camera, a 1932 recording by Gertrude Barber, a 1978 recording by Margaret Hodnett, a Custodian's List of Interments compiled by Archie Eldridge in 1982 and obituaries collected by Margaret Hodnett until her death in 1999.  Compiled and Submitted by Mary Rhodes, 11/2005; Updated Jan 11, 2007.
