Allegany's Population.

        The enumeration of the inhabitants of Allegany county has been completed, and there were in February 42,950 people within the county, being a loss of 290 since the census of June, 1890. The following gives each town and shows its gain or loss since June,1890

Alfred 1,669 - a loss of 30

Allen 726 - a gain of 9

Amity 2,049 - a gain of 53

Almond 1,409 - a loss of 10
