William Gordon Dies Suddenly Yesterday.

Funeral Services Tomorrow for Drilling Contractor; Suffered Heart Attack.

William H. Gordon, 45, of Petrolia died unexpectedly at 11 a.m. in Jones Memorial Hospital yesterday following a heart attack.

Mr. Gordon was a drilling contractor for many years.

Born on July, 30, 1910 in Scio, he was the son of the Late Louis and Mina Hurd Gordon. Mr. Gordon was married on Nov. 2, 1929 to Louella Ketchner who survives.

Other survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Martha Klatz, Petrolia; Mrs.Betty DelVecchio, Wellsville; and Miss Wanda Gordon at home; one son Lewis, also at home.  A grandson. Richard DelVecchio of Wellsville; three sisters Mrs. Clayton Green, Mrs. George Apsey, Mrs. Raymond Neu all of Wellsville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Gordon was a member of the Bolivar Country Club, the Alma Ron and Gun Club, the Lions Club and the Christian Temple.

Rev. Harold Hill will officiate at funeral services from the home in Petrolia tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
