Sandra M. Moag

GENESEE, PA. -- Sandra M. "Sandy" Moag, 59, of Genesee, Pa. died Wednesday (May 7, 2003) in her home.

She was born January 7, 1944 in Wellsville, N.Y., a daughter of Howard H. and Kathleen A. Lane Empson. On October 6, 1962, in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsville, she married William J. "Bill" Moag, who survives her. She was a homemaker and lifelong area resident.

Surviving besides her husband are: two sons, Mike (Barb) Moag of Ellisburg, Pa. and Mark E. (Vicki) Moag of West Bingham, Pa.; a daughter, Vicki K. (Kevin) Cramer of Wellsville; seven granchildren, Chad Glover, Kevin Cramer Jr., Heather Cramer, Tiffany Moag, Mike "Buddy" Moag, Aurora Downey, and Julius Moag; a sister, Carole (Lyle) Gee of Natalia, Tx; three brothers, Gary L. (Amy) Empson of West Bingham, Pa., Edward H. (Betty) Empson of Elmira Heights, and Donald R. (Lee) Empson of Ronkonkoma; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sherri, on March 4, 1966.

Friends may call today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Benjamin R. Olney Funeral Home in Ulysses, Pa., where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Rev. William W. Allen will officiate. Burial will be in the Ulysses Cemetary.
