Strate, Talcott H.
Last rites were conducted yesterday for Talcott H. Strate, with burial in Alma cemetery. Mr. Strate died Monday (10/6/1947) at the home of his brother, Volcott Strate of Pine Street.
He was born in Sharon, PA, January 16, 1867, a son of Abraham and Augusta Prindle Strate. He resided in Alma, where he was a driller, before going to the Oklahoma oil field around 1910. He came to Wellsville in 1946.
Surviving besides the brother are two sisters, Mrs. Una Sella and Mrs. Dimma Demming, both of Buffalo.
