Mrs Sara Withey, 70 well known in this section where she had visited on frequent occasions, died unexpectedly yesterday at 10:50 a.m. at her home in Belmont, N.Y.  She had had a cold for the past two weeks and Wednesday had suffered a heart attack from which she failed to rally.
Born In Butler County, Pa., she moved to this section when a child. She married Jesse A. Withey of Haymaker September, 1890. They lived in Haymaker several years and moved to Witheytown, N.Y. where Mr. Withey engaged in the oil business, After 24 years there, Mr. Withey retired and the couple moved to Wellsville. They resided there for 15 years and moved to Belmont, living there for the past three years.
Surviving are her husband: two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Bessie) of Derrick City and Mrs. Earle (Ina) BNurdick of Belmont; three sons, Harry of Derrick City and Howard and Charles of New York City; a sister, Miss Dllie Doudt of Bowling Green, Ohio, a brother Harry Doudt of Amarillo, Texas; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements for the funeral services are in charge of funeral director, Thomas Clark of Bradford.
Note Haymaker is about 500 feet south of the state line, in McKean county, PA just south of Olean, NY and about 2.5 miles east of Wigwam, PA.
