Adams Family Cemetery, Town of West Almond, Allegany County, NY
This old cemetery was first found in 1969 by Sal Falzoi, and re-discovered in 2009 by Jon Daskavitz, who supplied the two pictures. The cemetery is off the Perch Road, near Miller Road in West Almond. There appears to be one stone surrounded by an old pipe fence.
Abiah Pingree, Wife of Mora Adams, Died Oct 20, 1838
A genealogy prepared by by William Morrill Pingry states that Abijah Pingrey was born in Springfield New Hampshire in 1807. She married Mora Adams in Uxbridge Massachusetts in 1830 and they moved to Livingston County, and then West Almond, Allegany County in 1836. Abiah and Mora had three children, Henry, Calista and Francis.
