Obituary for Isabel Moore Colburn

 
Mrs. Alfred Colburn
Cuba:  Mrs. Isabel M. Colburn of  84 South Street, died today (Tuesday July 6, 1982) in Cuba Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Born June 6, 1911 in Holland, NY, she was a daughter of Dr. Sidney H. and Eva Taber Moore.  In 1945 she was married to Alfred L. Colburn, who predeceased her in 1981.
Mrs. Colburn was a graduate of Alfred University and had taught in the English Department in Cuba Central School for many years.
She was a member of the Cuba Shakespeare Club.
Surviving is a son, Stephen Colburn of Hamburg.
Friends may call at the Nicholson Funeral home, 24 Genesee Parkway, Cuba Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, where funeral and committal services will be held Friday July 9, 1982 at 11 am.  The Rev. Linda Chase, pastor of the Cuba First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.  If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
