Obituary for Leon W. McLean
Leon W. McLean, 91, died Wednesday, May 24, 1989 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial hospital, Wellsboro.
He was born Dec 14, 1897 in Brookfield Township to Willard and Hattie McLean. He was a farmer, He was a member of the Westfield Baptist Church, the Westfield Masonic Lodge, the Coudersport Consistory, and was a 73-year member of the Eulalia Grange. His first wife, Tressa Schoonover, died in 1930.
Surviving are his wife, Irene Doud McLean; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Knyon Funeral Home, Westfield, where services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Wallace Koch and the Rev. M.H. Vincent officiating. There will be a Masonic memorial service there 8 p.m. Fiday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Austinburg. Memorials may be made to the Westfield Baptist Church or the Sabinsville Volunteer Ambulance Association.
