Mrs. Harriett (Moot) Starkweather – A Victim of the Austin Flood is Buried at Angelica 

Angelica, Oct 12 – The remains of Mrs. Lafe Starkweather, one of the victims of the Austin, Pa. flood, were brought here for burial Monday.  Mrs. Starkweather’s home was formerly in Angelica.  The out of town relatives and friends who were here to attend the funeral were:  Joe Winchip and family, of Fillmore, NY; Frank Smalley and family of Friendship, NY; Charles Moot and family of Black Creek, NY A.H. Moot and family of Friendship, N.Y; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Duncan and Wells Moot of Buffalo, NY; Harrison Rutherford and daughter of Belfast, NY; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Moot of Webster’s Crossing NY; Mrs. Ann Moot and children of Allen NY and Lafe Starkweather, of Austin. Pa.
