NAME: HINCHER, HARVEY

DEATH: Nov. 16, 1880

BURIED: Leonard Cemetery, Elm Valley Road

INFO: Was a Pvt. In the 18^th Regiment, 3^rd Brigade, 2^nd Division of Riflemen. He

             served under Capt. H. Stevens and Capt. George K. Kirk. Unknown his length

             of stay in the militia.

According to the History of Allegany County 1879, page 188, Sgt. Joseph Baker and Corp. Joseph Woodruff were also in the New York State Militia. They were appointed on Monday June 3, 1811. I have not been able to prove or disapprove this info.
