Cuba Couple observe 55th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Clark, former residents of Portville, who now reside at 84 Maple Street here, observed their 55th wedding anniversary Wednesday. They were married on June 2, 1888 at Portville and were attended by their brother and sister, Mrs. And Mrs. Andrew Walton. They have always lived in this vicinity except for a few years spend in Wyoming County.
Mrs. And Mrs. Clark became the parents of three children, Mrs. Lou A. Bixby of Portville, Dean Clark of Clarksville and Harold Clark who died in 1916. They have eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The couple are both physically and mentally active. Mr. Clark is 81 years old, while Mrs. Clark is 75 years old. They spent their anniversary quietly at home.
