SEEKINS, J. B.; a native of Geneseo, Livingston county, was born August 12th, 1829. December 3rd, 1856, he was married to Miss Sarah A. Smith, of Granger. In 1859, he came to Short Tract, from Le Roy, N.Y. He is a farmer, and owner of about fifty-seven acres of land. They have a daughter, Ida V. Seekins, who was born in 1862.
