WELLSVILLE--Alice C. Dwight, 92 of 3200 First St. died Thursday (Oct. 20, 1005) in Jones Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in the Town of Howard on April 8,1913, she was the daughter of Ira and Carrie Belle Pierce Campbell. On June 20, 1936 she married Walter D. Dwight, who predeceased her July 22, 1969.
Mrs. Dwight attended school In Canisteo and Wellsville. She was employed for several years at Daystrom Furniture CO. at both the Friendship and Olean plants. Until her retirement she was head of the housekeeping at Jones Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Genesee (Pa.) United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Doris Winterhalter of Belmont and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Vinnie Brutsman and three brothers, Mott Campbell, Delbert Campbell and Asher Campbell.
There was no visitation. Private services were held Monday (Oct. 24, 2005) in the MUllholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville. The Rev Carl Kemp of the Knights Creek Evangelical Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rathbone cemetery.
Memorial may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
