STEPHEN R. COLE

Stephen R. Cole, engineer in the Richardson-Joyce shoe factory at Hornellsville, met with a sad death Monday. During the afternoon his clothing caught on the pin which connected the fly wheel with the shaft and he was whirled around the shaft sustaining injuries from which he died at the hospital during the evening. Deceased was sixty-five years of age and is survived by one son, Arthur S. Cole and seven grandchildren. He was the brother-in-law of Mrs. Mary E. Olmstead and Perry M. Hyde of Belmont and of Mrs. J. J. Spink and Mrs. Elle L. Dike of Wellsville.
