Obituary for Ralph H. Freeman

RALPH H. FREEMAN
WELLSVILLE -- Ralph H. Freeman, 79, formerly of Fords Brook Road, North Branch died Wednesday (April 23, 2003) in the Wellsville Manor Care Center.
He was born June 23, 1923, in Angelica, a son of Herbert Freeman and Ruby (Amesbury) Freeman.
Ralph was a life long resident of the North Branch where he worked on the family farm and was a former member of the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsville. He was a peaceful and gentle man that enjoyed the outdoors and visiting with his neighbors on Fords Brook.
Survivors include two brothers, Louis Freeman of Wellsville and Donald (Leona) Freeman of Friendship, one sister, Linda (Bernard) O'Connor of Pittsford, a sister-in-law Virginia Freeman of Wellsville, a step brother, Vivian (Ella) Duell of Wellsville, a step sister-in-law, Betty Duell of Wellsville, several nieces and nephews including his caregivers Bill and Judy Freeman and several cousins.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Howard Freeman and three step brothers, Vaughn, Victor and Vincent Duell.
Friends may visit Saturday April 26 from 10 a.m. to noon in the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville, where a funeral service will follow visitation. The Reverend Larry Hoyt will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Manor Hills Activities Fund or to the Wellsville Manor Care Center Activities fund.
