Mrs. Cecelia Gillen.

Mrs. Cecelia Gillen died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Mitchell, east of this village, Monday afternoon, December 16th. Mrs. Gillen was born in Ireland Sept. 29, 1821, coming to America sixty-three years ago. Sixty years of her life has been spent in Andover. In 1846 she married Patrick McGinty whose death occurred in 1855. Later she was united in marriage to Michael Gillen.

Deceased leaves five children; Daniel McGinty, living in this village, Edward, James and John Gillen of Chicago and Mrs. Anna Mitchell of Andover. Five grandchildren also survive, Miss Cecelia McGinty, Mattie Ryan and T.J. Ryan of Hornell, and John Ryan of Andover.

Funeral services were held at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Thursday morning. Interment was in saint John Cemetery.
