C. GUSTAFSON DIED TODAY FROM BURNS

Thursday December 10, 1925:

Charles Gustafson, twenty-five years old, of West Clarksville, died this morning at 3:50 o'clock in the Mountain Clinic from burns received while working on an oil lease for Foster M. Burdick, on December 1.  The body was removed to Kelley and Curry undertaking parlors from where it was taken to his home on Jordan Hill, West Clarksville.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arzelia Gustafson, one son, Elmer Charles, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Gustafson, three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Frost of Portville, Mrs. M. L. Sarrington [Ferrington] of West Clarksville and Hulda Gustafson of this city and three brothers, Irvin, Edwin and Arthur of Portville.  Funeral services will be held from his home on Jordan Hill, West Clarksville at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and from the Baptist church of West Clarksville at 2:45 o'clock.  The Rev. S. Custer will officiate and burial will be made in the West Clarksville cemetery.
