Lloyd D. Sanford

ALMOND-Lloyd D. Sanford, former superintendent of highways for the Town of Almond, died at his Almond home Saturday at the age of 76.

He had been superintendent of highways for 12 years, retiring in 1965.

Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. Hugh Lacy of Canaseraga RFD. And three sons, Harley and Lloyd, both of Hornell, and Brice of East Avon.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Robertson Funeral Home in homell with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Almond.

SANFORD-The family will receive friends at the Robertson Funeral Home in Homell today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The University Lodge No. 944 F. And A.M. of Alfred will conduct a Masonic Memorial service today at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
