Fay O. Spence (Johnson Cemetery)
Fay O. Spence 68, of 100 Seneca St died Monday Nov 16, 1998 at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb 5, 1930 in Wellsville, he was a son of Louis Spence and Helen (Jones, Spence) Shutt. Mr. Spence was a U. S. Navy veteran having served from 1947 to 1950.
In Wellsville on Dec 5, 1994 he married the former Mary Bialy who survives.
Mr. Spence was a former supervisor of the Friendship Foundry, retiring in 1990.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons Doug Spence of Belmont and Dan Spence of Friendship, a daughter, Yvonne Ferguson of Wellsville, a brother, Philip (Joyce) Spence of California, step brothers, Ron Shutt, Larry Shutt, Doran Shutt, Basil Shutt and Gene Shutt; three step sons Bryan (Lori) Dewe of California, Leon (Amy) Dewe of Fillmore and Timothy Bialy of
Rushford; two stepdaughters, Marlene Bialy of Wellsville and Glenda (Doug) Young of Oramel; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 Friday at the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home Inc. Wellsville. Funeral services will begin there at 11 am Saturday with Rev Mark Chamberlain of the Angelica Bible Church officiating.
Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery, Wellsville. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
