Almond Phillips is the G-G-Grandfather of my husband. His burial plot is located in Sunnyside Cemetery, Alma NY. the grave spot is located in the back under the pine tree, left side of the driveway as you enter the cemetery from the left drive. The grave is marked by an old headstone plus the new bronze marker placed by me.
Almond Phillips enlisted 21 Sept 1864 at Hornellsville, NY, into Company I, 141st Regt of NY Inf. as a Private. He was discharged June 8, 1865 at Washington and died June 25, 1886.
