EVANS, ADDISON
My 2nd great grand uncle, Addison Evans, enlisted at Cuba, NY in the 23rd Regiment, NY infantry, B Company on May 28, 1861.In September 1862, he was injured at Antietam by a mini-ball on the left side.In 1863, he was appointed a sutler in the 189th NY voluntary infantry.
DOB - 13 Feb 1837 in Wirt, NY --- DOD - 3 Mar 1893 in Chicago, IL
buried - Maple Lawn Cemetery in Bolivar, NY
