[BYRON PATTEN]

Aged Resident of the Town of Andover Passes Away.

The death of [Byron Patten], of paralysis, occurred at his home three miles south of this village, Saturday night, January 13th. Mr. Patten was born in Ireland, May 3, 1828, being in his 84th year at the time of his death. He was one of the pioneer residents of this town that will be missed by a large circle of friends. He leaves his wife and several children to mourn his loss.

Funeral services were held from the Blessed Sacrament church, Tuesday morning with burial in St. John's Cemetery.
