ERNEST TAYLOR DIED; LIVED IN ALLENTOWN ALL HIS LIFE

Ernest Taylor of Allentown died last night in Jones Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Taylor live din Allentown all his life and was a pumper for Ebenezer Oil Company.

Born in Scio on March 14, 1883, he was the son of the late Warren and Josephine Knapp Taylor. His wife, the former Grace Murray, died in Jan. 1953.

Surviving are two sons, Lloyd of Welsville and Wilfred of Allentown; a sister Mrs Francis Murray, Scio; a brother, Arthur of Inavale; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Taylor was a member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodge of Allentown and member of the fire department there.

Rev Jesse Young will officiate at funeral services on Sunday at 2 PM, from the Embser Funeral Home, burial will be in Knights Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and from 7-9 PM in the afternoon and evening.
