Mrs. L Wentworth Rites conducted
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Wentworth, Bolivar, were held at one thirty o'clock at the Bolivar Methodist Church with the Rev. O. B. Hill of Wellsville officiating. Burial was made in Maple Lawn cemetery., Bolivar.
Mrs. Wentworth was seventy-five years of age passed away Sunday afternoon (August 6, 1950) in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville following a eight years illness. She was born October 31, 1891, the daughter of Ephreem and Ellen Haynes Gowdy. They made their home in Allentown moving to Bolivar about 40 years ago. Mrs. Wentworth was a Past Noble Grand of Trilby Rebekah Lodge, Bolivar.
Surviving are her husband (Olin S. Wentworth), a son Glen Wentworth, Bradford, PA.; two a daughters, Mrs. Irene (Nagle) Doyle and Mrs Carroll Richardson, Lodi, Ohio. A grandson William Nagle at Bolivar also survives.
