Louisa Krusen Burrow was born Aug. 22, 1839. Her marriage with Ward Burrow occurred Nov. 2, 1861. Her death Jan. 26, 1894. Her girlhood was spent in her parental home, and her married life chiefly in this vicinity. Her Christian spirit and warm affection for others won for her many friends, while her zeal in doing good gave her a prominence among all workers in Christ’s vineyard. Her family life is a sweet remembrance to the broken band who now gather around the family altar.
Ring the bells of Heaven; Sorrow not to-day:
For the Lord has given; He must take away.
Ring the bells of Heaven; Ring them loud and plain,
One more suffering mortal Has been relieved of pain.
Ring the bells of Heaven; Louder than before;
One of earths bright spirits, Has entered by the door.
