Mrs. Mae Saunders Rogers of Scio 89, died March 7, 1974 in Mary's Nursing Home, Wellsville following a long illness.

She was born in Alfred July 27 1884, a daughter of Henry and Laura Compton Saunders. She married Lewis M. Rogers on December 16, 1912.

Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Alfred Seventh Day Baptist Church. She graduated in 1910 from the Battle Creek Michigan Sanitarium Training School for Nurses.

Survivors include, one daughter, Mrs. Florence Merriam of Scio; one son Roy Rogers of Framingham Mass.; nine grandchildren and one great grandson and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Mullholland-Crowell Funeral Home tonight from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM with the Rev. Russell Johnson, pastor of the Seventh Day Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Scio.
